Journal subject areas

The journal subject areas are defined by the following index terms below. These terms represent the keywords to be chosen for assignment of submitted manuscripts to individual editors. The same keywords are also used by the alert service. The keywords are split into three groups: subject, timescale and archive. Each paper and each alert request should include keywords from each of the three groups.
